  1. Red rice is highly nutritious as its rich in B-complex vitamins.
  2. It is high on fibre and very effective in weight management of PCOS


  1. Red rice- 40g
  2. Fish (Shredded) -100g
  3. Bell Pepper (Tri-colour)- 50g
  4. Black olives- 2-3 no’s
  5. Broccoli- 20g
  6. Ginger (Minced)- 1/2 TSP
  7. Garlic (Mined) -1/2 TSP
  8. Oregano- 1/4 TSP
  9. Chilli Flakes -To taste
  10. Salt -To taste
  11. Olive oil -1 TSP

Method of preparation

  1. Clean and soak red rice for about 3-4 hours
  2. Pressure cook giving 2 whistles
  3. Chop all the vegetables finely
  4. Heat a pan and add olive oil, minced garlic and ginger saute over high flame. Add all the chopped vegetables.
  5. Now add shredded fish and saute till tender. Sprinkle salt, chilli flakes and oregano.
  6. Finally mix the red rice with all the vegetables and fish.
  7. Serve hot as a meal.
