Patrani Macchi: A Healthy Persian Cuisine for PCOS



Coriander- 30g

Mint leaves- 10g

Green chilly-1/2 small

Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp

Ginger, Garlic paste- ½ tsp

Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp

Salt- As per taste

Lemon- ½ no.

Haldi leaves-for wrapping

Method of Preparation:

  1. Clean the fish completely.
  2. Make a paste of the greens,Mustard and chilli, add to it the ginger garlic paste and salt.
  3. Stuff fish with the paste in and around and squeeze lemon on it.
  4. Wrap the fish in Haldi leaf for it to get the flavour and aroma, and steam the fish wrapped in the leaf.
  5. Serve hot.
