  1. Cowpea or lobia is very high on soluble and insoluble fibre giving early satiety for weight management in PCOS
  2. Finger millet is one of the rich sources of calcium
  3. Sweet potato is high on minerals and fibre compared to potato and so is considered safe in PCOS.


  1. Finger millet flour (Ragi) -20g
  2. Rava- 10g
  3. Sweet potato -25g
  4. Cowpea -25g (Soaked)
  5. Besan- 10g
  6. French beans -25g
  7. Garlic- 1/2 TSP (minced)
  8. Capsicum -20g
  9. Carrot (Shredded)- 20g
  10. Mint leaves- 6 to 8 no
  11. Black pepper -1/4 TSP
  12. Chaat masala- 1/2 TSP
  13. Pink salt (To Taste)
  14. Veg oil 1 TSP

Method of preparation

  1. Pressure cook cowpea giving 2 whistles and keep aside.
  2. In a deep vessel add mashed sweet potato with all the ingredients.
  3. Mix well into mini roll shapes with hand.
  4. Grease a cast iron Flat pan and place all the mini rolls. Cook it both sides till its crisp and done well.
  5. Serve hot with green chutney.
