An Exquisitely Fruity Parfait for PCOS

Ingredients:

Slim yogurt- 20g

Apple- 20g

Pomegranate- 20g

Chia seeds- 7.5g

Muesli- 10g

Cinnamon powder-1/4 tsp

Method of Preparation:

  1. Soak chia seeds overnight and add it to a tall glass forming a bottom layer.
  2. Then put a layer of slim yogurt with little cinnamon powder added. Then a layer of fruit.
  3. Alternate the layers with yogurt and fruit and top it with crunchy muesli.
  4. Refrigerate and serve the chilled dessert.

Benefits:

  1. Chia seeds are very rich in omega-3 fatty acids and soluble fibre and so are very useful for weight management in PCOD.
